$8.6 million railroad rehab grant coming

After last Tuesday’s train derailment in downtown Perry, crews rushed in and repaired the damage in a matter of days.

However, soon the entire rail line from Perry to Adel, Ga., will be rehabilitated thanks to an $8.6 million federal grant awarded last year.
