Alice Jo Henderson

Alice Jo Henderson, 83, died Feb. 17, 2018, at home with her daughter in Tallahassee. Alice was born May 20, 1934, in Nallen, W. Va., to Cecil Potter and Cassie White Potter.

Alice was a member of Antioch Revival Center in Perry. She was very family-oriented and loved to spend time with her family.

Alice was preceded in death by: her husband, James E. Henderson; her parents, Cecil and Cassie Potter; and her brothers, Carl and Richard Potter.

She is survived by: daughters, Shellie Curby and her husband, Randy, and Debbie Paul and her husband, William; her sister-in-law, Ethel Potter; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces and nephews. Her local nieces and nephews are Iris Potter, Carla Woods, Crystal Richard and Richard Potter Jr.

No services are planned at this time but donations may be made in her honor to: Antioch Revival Center, Shriner’s Burn Center of Galveston Texas or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. All arrangements are under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Perry.
