Still no word on Russell’s vacant co. seat

Governor Rick Scott’s office has yet to make a decision on who to appoint to fill the District 3 County Commission seat left vacant by the passing of Frank Russell nearly three weeks ago.

“No decisions have been made regarding this appointment,” said Kerri Wyland with the Governor’s Press Office. “The position is currently open, and anyone is welcome to apply.”
