Perry man dies in crash

A 68-year-old motorcyclist was killed Wednesday night while attempting to pass a truck turning into a private driveway off Beach Road.

Robert Lee Smith was transported to Doctors’ Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased, Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) Trooper Johnson reported.
