    Virginia E. Polhill

    Virginia E. Polhill, 90, of Clewiston, died Feb. 28, 2018, in her daughter’s home in Clewiston with her family around her.

    Virginia was born Dec. 22, 1927, in Valdosta, Ga., to Charles and Virginia Grant Stanford. She married her high school sweetheart, Frank Leonard Polhill in 1947. Virginia and Frank lived in Flagler and Sarasota Counties before making their home in Clewiston in 1957. Virginia was a long time member of First Baptist Church in Clewiston. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister who will be dearly missed by her entire family.

    Virginia leaves behind: her loving children, Libby Williams and her husband Daniel; sons, Frank Polhill and his wife, Bebe and John Polhill and his wife, Emely; grandchildren, Kameron Williams DeMarco, Chase Williams, Caleb Polhill, Joshua Polhill, Grant Polhill, Myles Polhill and Ryland Polhill; great-grandchildren, Harrison, Lawson, Corbin, Brooks, Monroe and Emerson; and siblings, Dorothy Young and Oneal Grant.

    Virginia’s life was celebrated with a visitation on Friday, March 2, in Akin-Davis Funeral Home of Clewiston, and entombment at 1 p.m. Monday, March 5, in Pineview Memorial Gardens in Perry.
