Property sales jumped up 62% in Taylor County last year, but land and home values remained somewhat steady, according to data being analyzed by Taylor County Property Appraiser Bruce Ratliff.
While the number of property sales jumped by nearly 300 in 2017 (from 478 sales in 2016 to 776 sales in 2017), Ratliff told county commissioners he has not seen an increase in property values.
