    Reginald “Reggie” Talmadge Hall

    Reginald Talmadge Hall, , went home to be with his Lord and Savior March 9, 2018.

    Reggie was born in Foley on Sept. 30, 1931, and grew up in Foley and Perry. He served four years in the US Navy and several years in the Navy Reserves.

    Reggie always enjoyed talking to people and to witness to them about Jesus. He was active in church all his life until a stroke in February 2009 left him homebound. He was a great prayer warrior.

    He was preceded in death by: his parents, The Rev. Claude and Algierene Hall.

    He is survived by: his wife of 39 years, Kathleen; his brother, Harry (Shirley) Hall; his sister, Claudia Callen of Perry; and many nieces and nephews.

    The family wishes to thank the VA for all the help and care during the long confinement and to the many friends and family for prayers and visits. Our church family has been wonderful. We also greatly appreciate the wonderful people and care at Hospice during his final days.

    Funeral service were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 13, at Dearmeadows Baptist Church, 9780 Baymeadows Rd. Friends visited one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Bill Carmichael officiated the service. Entombment followed in Evergreen Cemetery.
