    Betty Lou Hart, 80, died March 24, 2018, in Tallahassee. Betty was born March 11, 1938, in Deland to Hugh L. Shaw and Mary Jane Shaw.

    Betty loved to garden and spend time with her grandchildren. She was an artist and musician. She could play many instruments, which she learned to play by ear. Most of all she loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

    Betty was preceded in death by: her husband of 53 years, Claud L. Hart Jr.; her parents, Hugh and Mary Jane Shaw, one great-grandchild, Lucas James Cowan; one brother; and three sisters.

    She is survived by: her son, Wyatt (Ruth) Hart; her daughters, Laura (Henry) Lee and Karen (Larry) Goodman; her son, Kenny (Theanther) Hart; her sons, John Hart and Kevin (Katrina) Hart; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; three sisters, Rosemary French, Deloris Eilers, and Carol Oxford; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

    There are no services planned at this time. All arrangements are under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Perry.
