Blount’s #32 jersey retired

LeGarrette Blount was joined by his father, Gary, (above left) and mother, Barbara Bonner (above right) during a Friday, March 23, ceremony at Dorsett Stadium in which Taylor County High School retired his #32 jersey.

Former Bulldogs’ Head Coach Dennis Kizziah, longtime Bulldogs’ assistant coach Ed Harvey and Superintendent Danny Glover, Jr. all spoke during the ceremony, which featured the TCHS band, cheerleaders, hundreds of local fans, as well as middle school and high school football players. Bulldogs’ Head Coach Reggie Wentworth also invited Blount to throw out the first pitch in the Bulldogs’ baseball game Thursday night.
