Three-time Super Bowl champion LeGarrette Blount made a triumphant return to his hometown this past week, throwing out the first pitch at a high school baseball game on Thursday and drawing a crowd of fans at Dorsett Stadium as Taylor County High School retired his #32 Bulldogs’ high school jersey on Friday.

On Saturday, Blount was the again the center of attention as he rolled down Jefferson Street and around the courthouse during a parade in his honor before heading to Loughridge Park for a community cook-out. Blount was recently signed to a one-year contract by the Detroit Lions after helping the Philadelphia Eagles win their first-ever Super Bowl last year. Blount also won Super Bowl rings playing with the New England Patriots in 2014 and 2016.
