Ellis steps into the ring, and on stage, as ‘The Greatest’

Perry native La’Tevin Alexander Ellis, 26, is currently floating like a butterfly and stinging like a bee on stage in Portland, Ore.

Ellis, the son of Cynthia Ellis, stars in a new Oregon Children’s Theater play, “And in This Corner: Cassius Clay,” as a young Cassius Clay before he changed his name and became boxing legend, Muhammad Ali.
