The saying may suggest there is no such thing as a free lunch, but that won’t be the case for Taylor County students and their parents next school year.
The Taylor County School Board agreed last week to join the federal Community Eligibility Option (CEO), which will provide universal free breakfast and lunch to all students, regardless of family income level. (Students will still have to pay for à la carte options at Taylor County Middle School and Taylor County High School.)
