William Franklin Stewart

William Franklin Stewart, also affectionately know as “Bill,” “Papa Smurf,” or “Leprechaun” died April 23, 2018. William was born Nov. 12, 1943.

He is survived by: his wife, Shirley Stewart; his four children, Kenneth Stewart, Edna Stewart-McCormack, Kelly Stewart, Sheryl Stewart-Porter; and his sister, Martha Cochran.

William honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy. He retired from Tamp Electric Company after 30 years and moved to Perry in 2001. He was a member of First Methodist Church and belonged to Perry Masonic Lodge 123 and Steinhatchee American Legion.

Funeral services will be private at Bill’s request.
