Bonnie Grimes Jackson

Bonnie Grimes Jackson, 64, died April 22, 2018, at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.

Bonnie was born March 31, 1954, in Perry to Solomon Grimes Sr. and Mary Louise Grimes. Both preceded her in death, along with her oldest brother, Will “Buddy” Grimes.

She was a homemaker and enjoyed caring for her family and her home. She was a very kind and loving person, and was adored by her family and friends.

Bonnie’s love for Jehovah motivated her to become a dedicated servant of Him and she symbolized her dedication by water baptism in 1979. Her life and lifestyle were consistent with Bible standards. She spent much of her time helping people of all sorts to learn about her God, Jehovah.

She is survived by: her husband, Ronnie Solomon Jackson; her two children, Michael Martin Jr. and Melinda (Jackson) Hugger; three sisters, Annie Lois Grimes, Martha Carter and Vonnie Sanders; one brother, Solomon Grimes Jr.; three grandchildren, David Martin, Miguel Martin and Randy Victoria Hugger; and one great-granddaughter, Ma’Ryiah Martin.

Bonnie also leaves behind a host of friends, nieces, nephews, in-laws and other family members and precious friends.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, April 28, at
1 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses (1820 Sunset Lane).
