Steinhatchee home is destroyed by fire

A widow on fixed income lost all of her belongings in a fire that destroyed her home and an adjoining dwelling Tuesday night, May 1 in Steinhatchee.

According to Taylor County Fire Chief Dan Cassel, Taylor County Fire Rescue (TCFR) was dispatched to a report of a structure fire at 2019 River Road in Steinhatchee at 9:29 p.m.
