Only two local races, 13 proposed amendments on Nov. 6 ballot thus far

Although only two local races are currently set to be decided by Taylor County voters this year, the November election ballot is expected to be lengthy due to a total of 13 proposed constitutional amendments up for consideration.

Eight of the 13 amendments were approved by the Florida Constitutional Revision Commission (CRC), which convenes every 20 years to consider changes to the state’s highest set of laws. The other five were placed on the ballot either by the Florida Legislature or citizen campaigns.
