    Franklin Paul Botello

    Franklin Paul Botello, 79, died May 2, 2018, in Kingman, Ariz.

    Frank raced stock cars in the late 1950’s and all of the 1960’s at Saugus Speedway in California. He worked at Lockheed Airport until he went on to run his own survey business.

    Frank was in the American Civil War Society, where he participated in reenactments for 13 years, fighting for the South. He once attended an American Civil War Society meeting in Perry in 2011 and really enjoyed it, saying the fellow Perry American Civil War Society members were “a really nice bunch of guys!”

    He appeared in the Jeff Dunham Show with Jeff and Sweet Daddy D. In his last times, he deejayed at car shows in California and was an avid prospector.

    Frank was preceded in death by: his parents, Irene Botello Sanchez and Jessie Botello.

    He is survived by: the mother of his daughters, Elizabeth Botello Sadler; his daughters, Angela Scott, Christine Tomlison and Desiree Botello Thomas; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; as well as a host of relatives out West.

    Funeral services will be held June 9, at 12 p.m. in Arizona. There will be a car show and parade memorial in California at a later date.
