A Perry Police Department (PPD) officer collapsed and was administered two doses of Narcan — the drug used for the emergency treatment of a suspected opioid overdose — after being exposed to an unknown substance Thursday morning.
Ptl. Jamin Cephus was transported to Doctors’ Memorial Hospital (DMH) where he was treated and released after a few hours of observation. He was home and resting as of presstime.
