Zachary Ryan Wentz

Zachary Ryan Wentz, 21, died May 8, 2018, in Shady Grove. Zach was born November 28, 1996, in Tallahassee, to Steven Paul Wentz and Mary Malone Wentz.

Zach was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Zach enjoyed his work as a Diesel Mechanic with Scott’s Mobile Repair. He was a true country boy that loved hunting, fishing, and trucks. Zach had a kind soul and would help others at the drop of a hat. He was mechanically inclined and liked to tinker with broken gadgets, and restore them to working order again, sometimes! Everyone who truly knew Zach, understood how loving he really was.

Zach is survived by: his parents, Steven and Mary Wentz; his brother, Jason Malone; his sister Stephanie Wentz; and an extended large loving family.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 12, at 11 a.m. at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with Bro. Danny Lundy officiating. Interment services will follow immediately afterwards in Carlton Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until time of service on Saturday, May 12, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. All arrangements are under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Perry.
