Albert Lamar “A.L.” Suber

Albert Lamar “A.L.” Suber, 78, died April 26, 2018, at Doctor’s Memorial Hospital in Perry. A.L. was born Jan. 31, 1940, to Daniel Thomas Suber and Rosa Dee Bell Suber.

He honorably served our country in the United States Marine Corps and retired from the Taylor County Road Department following 37 years of service. He was of the Baptist Faith and enjoyed spending time outdoors in his spare time.

He was preceded in death by: his parents, Daniel Suber and Rosa Dee Johnson; his wife, Andra Carolyn Suber; his stepfather, Jesse N. Johnson Sr.; and his two sisters, Willie Mae Ragans Brinson and Catherine Suber Weatherly.

He is survived by: his two daughters, Kimberly Ann Suber and Rhonda Kay Suber, both of Perry; his three brothers, J.D. Suber, of Grand Ridge, Charles F. Johnson, of Lee, and Jesse N. Johnson Jr., of Perry; as a well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Graveside funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 30, in Pisgah Cemetery with Charles Johnson officiating. All arrangements are under the care of Burns Funeral Home of Perry.
