Clifford ‘Skipper’ Anthony McCall

Clifford (Skipper) Anthony McCall, 71, of Steinhatchee passed away peacefully at home on Oct. 4, 2026.

He was born to Clifford and Nellie McCall on Aug. 19, 1955.

He was a man who loved his family and friends, as well as the great outdoors. He always had a story or joke for every occasion. The greatest dad and Papa anyone could ever ask for.

He was a lifelong resident of Steinhatchee.

Skipper is preceded in death by his father, Clifford E. McCall.

He is survived by: his wife of 44 years, Delaine D. McCall; his daughter, Andrea Harris (CJ); his son, Lawton McCall; his grandchildren, Trevor Bedford and Kaydie Joe Harris; his mother, Nellie McCall; and his sister, Carolyn Nobles (Randy).

Funeral services will be held Friday, Oct. 9, at 2 p.m., at the Woodyard Cemetery in Salem.

Family will receive visitors at the Steinhatchee Community Center after the graveside service concludes.

Arrangements have been placed under the care of Rick Gooding Funeral Home Cross City Chapel.
