Neighbors notice when GP lets off excess steam

Residents living in the area of the local Georgia-Pacific mill may have noticed louder-than-normal noise coming from the Foley Cellulose plant recently.

According to Foley Cellulose Mill Public Affairs Manager Scott Mixon, a few residents contacted him concerning unusually loud noise – in excess of normal mill operations – being generated by the local mill over the weekend.
