‘Crews Marine’ redfish team places second in field of 63

The Taylor County-based “Crews Marine” team — made up of David Crews and Robert Hunter — placed second out of 63 professional redfish teams fishing out of Steinhatchee this past weekend in the second of three Florida Pro Redfish Series tournaments in the Big Bend Division.

Crews and Hunter weighed in two redfish with a combined weight of 14.94 pounds to finish second behind the first-place “Castaway Customs” team of Danny Sheldon and Rich Thomas, who weighed in their two-fish limit of 15.31 lbs.
