Broader picture of Swindle’s firing captured in hearing officer’s report

In the past decade, Charles Swindle has donned a variety of uniforms that seem to reflect a dedication to duty and service—volunteer firefighter, emergency medical responder and Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) trooper.

It is that latter role which has garnered Swindle attention not only statewide but across the nation in the passing months.
