County will defer to policy on paving requests

At the request of Commissioners Jim Moody and Steve Spradley, the county commission will use its adopted paving policy, including traffic count data and other criteria, to rank Davis Walker Road and Potts Still Road on its overall paving priority list.

Moody initiated discussion about possibly paving the two county-owned limerock roads at the county’s May 7 meeting, stating both roads serve a number of local residences, but also double as shortcuts between Puckett Road and Beach Road and Highway 19.
