Victoria “Vicky” McElveen

Victoria “Vicky” McElveen, 80, died May 30, 2018, at her home in Perry. Vicky was born Dec. 21, 1937, in Pikeville, Ky., to Jerry Spradlin and Ella Louise Hunt Spradlin.

Vicky enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and enjoyed shopping. She was a constant rock for anyone to lean on. Family was her first priority. She was a woman of faith and an active member of the First Assembly of God.

Victoria was preceded in death by: her husband, Henry Donald McElveen; and her parents, Jerry and Ella Louise Spradlin.

She is survived by: her children, Donald McElveen, Patsy McElveen, Glenda McElveen and Sarah (Charles) Jones; eight grandchildren, Kristopher Hunter, Joshua Carter, Kimberly McElveen, Garrett Carter, Chelsea McElveen, Sierra Eastman, Destinee McElveen and Justin Jones; and a host of great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held Monday, June 4, at 6 p.m. at First Assembly of God with Pastor David Stephens officiating. All arrangements are under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Perry.
