School board to consider ‘options’ for Steinhatchee School tonight (June 18)

    Posted on June 18, 2013

The Taylor County School Board will consider recommendation options from Superintendent Paul Dyal regarding middle school classes at Steinhatchee School during its regular meeting tonight (Tuesday, June 18).

The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. in the school board meeting room located at the Alton H. Wentworth Administrative Complex on Clark Street.

Dyal has provided three options for members to consider: transporting the 31 students to Taylor County Middle School; providing virtual school classes; or remaining as is, which means the district would not be in compliance with state regulations.
