$10,000 offered for old hospital

A group of anonymous investors — represented by local attorney Ray Curtis – has offered to purchase the former hospital building located on Ash Street as part of a plan to renovate and remodel the facility to house office suites and apartments.

Curtis attended the county’s Monday night meeting to determine the county’s interest level for a proposal he spelled out in a May 18 letter sent to County Administrator Ted Lakey: “I represent a group of investors who, at present, wish to remain anonymous. They have asked me to meet with the board to gauge the board’s receptiveness to selling the hospital building located at 407 East Ash Street,” Curtis wrote.
