John Pharo Morgan, Jr.

It is with great sadness that the family of John Pharo Morgan, Jr. announces his passing on Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at the age of 80 years old.

John was born Dec. 3, 1937, in Perry, to Pharo and Cedron (O’Quinn) Morgan. He often spoke of growing up on the Fenholloway River. He graduated in 1957 from Taylor County High School and received his bachelor’s degree from Valdosta State University.

John served four years in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1964. He spend over 30 years in St. Petersburg, working as a real estate appraiser. John spent his last few years in Perry, enjoying the outdoors.

He will be lovingly remembered by: his son, John (Lisa) Morgan; his brother, Ronald (Peggy) Morgan; and his sister, June Morgan. John will also be fondly remembered by numerous relatives, friends and neighbors.
