There are several tense moments Wednesday afternoon while emergency responders worked to extricate a woman pinned inside her car during a two-vehicle crash in front of the Perry post office.
According to preliminary reports, the woman was attempting to cross all four lanes of traffic on Jefferson Street when she was hit by an oncoming truck. The resulting impact sent her four-door vehicle crashing into the brick sign located at the post office entrance. Both drivers were transported from the scene with minor injuries.
