New eye doctor, Papa John’s locating here

City Manager Bob Brown shared encouraging economic development news at last week’s Perry City Council meeting, announcing that an area ophthalmologist planned to open a new branch office here.

The Taylor County Development Authority (TCDA) has been working with Dr. Shalesh Kaushal “for quite awhile,” Brown said. “He will start out with a limited schedule, with plans to expand. He will initially be located at Premier Medical Clinic.
