4 qualify for city races

Qualifying for Perry City Council candidates ended Monday, with a total of four candidates in two races set to compete for votes this August.

Incumbent District 4 Councilman Alan C. Hall will be facing a challenge from Mary Williams. Meanwhile, Perry Mayor David Sullivan (District 5) announced he will not seek a second term, and Tonya B. Holton and Ward Eugene Ketring are running to fill his seat.
