Virdie Lee Dobson

Virdie Lee Dobson, 92, died June 13, 2018, at Doctors’ Memorial Hospital. She was born Sept. 29, 1925, to the late Mack and Sallie Robinson Williams.

Virdie was preceded in death by: her husband, Jessie Dobson; and her siblings, Mack Williams, Earl Williams and Mary Dunwood.

She is survived by: her children, Carl Williams and his wife, Mary, Ronald Williams, Barnie Williams, Chenita Jones and Sarita Carter and her husband, Isaac; her sisters, Julia Williams and Eloise Underwood and her husband, Theodore; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 23, at 11 a.m., at New Brooklyn M.B. Church. Interment will follow immediately after the service at Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held today (Friday), from 5-7 p.m., at New Brooklyn M.B. Church.

Funeral arrangements have been placed in the care of Trinity Funeral Home.
