County approves ‘park host’ plan for Hampton Springs

The Hampton Springs Advisory Committee reported “significant” progress in its quest to protect and promote the historic site, with the Taylor County Commission moving forward with its recommendation to establish a “park host” position for the park.

County commissioners voted last week to accept the proposed “park host” application and job description outlined by the committee.
