Debbie Casey, the Perry woman battling Eastern Equine Encephalitis (EEE), faces a long road to recovery, and will soon be moved from Shands Hospital to a long-term rehab center.
“It looks like she may be out of woods, as far as life-threatening symptoms. We are thankful that she is still with us and has a fighting chance. There is a possibility that she will make a full recovery, so that is what we are praying for,” Casey’s brother, Bish Clark said.
