Board calls for accountability

School board members expressed frustration at their meeting last week after hearing Superintendent Danny Glover Jr.’s brief presentation of the Florida Standards Assessment (FSA) scores, which were mostly below state average.

The board will host a workshop this Thursday, June 28, at 8 a.m., at the Alton H. Wentworth Administrative Complex (318 North Clark St.) to discuss plans to improve FSA scores, as well as go over individual plans for each school and the 2018-19 financial budget. The public is invited to attend.
