School system to fund full-time psychologist

Taylor County School Board members unanimously voted to establish a full-time psychologist position to serve the Taylor County School District for the upcoming year, a move which coincides with Florida’s statewide push for better mental healthcare for students.

At their June 19 meeting, board members discussed why establishing the position is a “no-brainer.”
