Carlton, Agner both re-elected to school board without opposition

When the qualifying period ended on June 22, all local filed candidates were officially cleared to run in their respective races, and incumbent Taylor County School Board members Brenda Carlton and Bonnie Sue Agner both earned new terms without opposition.

Carlton, Taylor County’s longest-serving elected official, will serve her eighth four-year term on the School Board, after first being elected in 1990.
