Steve Lester Jacobs, 59, died July 2, 2018, at his home in Perry. Steve was born Aug. 24, 1958, in Tallahassee, to Ray Jacobs and Nell Rollins Page.

Steve loved being with his family, playing his guitar and singing and writing his own songs.

He was preceded in death by: his father, Ray Jacobs.

He is survived by: his mother, Nell Page; his brother, Danny Jacobs and his wife, Judy; his brother, Tony Tomlinson; his sister, JoAnn Morgan; and his sister, Tammy Searcy; as well as a host of nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.

No services are planned at this time. All arrangements are under the direction of Burns Funeral Home of Perry.
