Concert to benefit Bradfordville Blues repairs

The Bradfordville Blues Club, a North Florida landmark, was severely damaged by Tropical Storm Alberto when a tree fell onto its roof.

Repairs are continuing and the venue plans to re-open this month, but in the meantime, many in the blues community are coming together this weekend for a benefit event to help raise funds for the reconstruction. The “Keeping the Blues Alive” concert will be held Saturday, July 7, at The Moon in Tallahassee beginning at 7 p.m.
