War Eagles closing in on 2018 season

The Taylor County War Eagles football program is just one month away from kicking off its 2018 season on Aug. 11 when they host a jamboree game featuring every team in the Big Bend Conference.

The Taylor County War Eagles is a traveling tackle youth football program – featuring players age 5 to 13 playing on 7-and-Under (7U), 9-and-Under (9U), 11-and-Under (11U) and 13-and-Under (13U) teams – formed with the help of the local Boys & Girls Club after the county discontinued its recreational youth tackle football league.
