40 taking part in TCMS workouts

The Taylor County Middle School (TCMS) football team has been holding practices throughout the summer on Tuesday and Thursday mornings as coaches work to get players in shape for the fall football season.

The voluntary TCMS Bulldog workouts have been well attended, averaging 30-40 players at each practice. Coaches say that not many middle schools in the surrounding areas have summer workouts at all — much less draw 40-plus players in the heat of July.
