The estimated $550,000 paving project that encompassed Center Street and Church Street — running from the intersection at Ash Street to U.S. Highway 19 — is expected to be completed today (with the exception of striping). This project, coupled with other paving/re-surfacing projects completed by the city in the past few months (not counting Jefferson Street), represents an investment of more than $1 million in road projects. “

All of these projects were paid for by the city or with grant funds the city secured,” City Manager Bob Brown said.
