City, applicant both silent on hiring appeal

City manager applicant Roslyn Evans has been vocal in print and social media regarding her intent to appeal the Perry City Council’s decision that she “did not meet the minimum advertised requirements” for the job. Many expected her to raise those concerns at the council’s regular meeting Tuesday.

However, Evans – who was in attendance – remained silent throughout the proceedings.
