Tuesday house fire

A home on Roberts Aman Road was destroyed by fire late Tuesday afternoon. No one was injured and the resident is receiving assistance from the American Red Cross.

When firefighters arrived at 657 Roberts Aman Road, they found the home fully engulfed in flames, Taylor County Fire-Rescue Chief Dan Cassel said. “We received the call at 4:45 p.m. and remained on scene for three hours. The official cause of the fire remains under investigation.”
