Taylor Brown is top pick for city manager

    Posted on July 27, 2018

With a 4-1 vote Tuesday, the Perry City Council selected Taylor Troth Brown as its choice to be the next city manager, authorizing Mayor David Sullivan and City Attorney Ray Curtis to initiate contract talks.

“I would like to thank everyone who applied. It is remarkable we got down to two qualified applicants and we are blessed to have so many people who want to work here. It’s a great place to work. I am happy with that process and I’m ready to decide tonight,” Councilman Mike Deming said.
