Viloteen “Tina” Tedder Anderson

Violeteen “Tina” Tedder Anderson, 85, of Middlesex, N.C., died July 21, 2018, in Raleigh, N.C.

Visitation will be 6-9 p.m., today (Friday) at McLaurin Funeral Home, Hwy. 70, Clayton, N.C. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 28, at Watkins Chapel Baptist Church with Pastor Mike Carter of Watkins Chapel Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.

Tina was born in Perry on August 23, 1932, to John Herman Tedder and Henri Etta Lanier Tedder. She went to school in Perry. She loved playing cards, fishing, traveling and working in her yard. Above all else, she loved her family and friends.

Tina is preceded in death by: her parents, Herman and Etta Tedder; and her brothers, Richmond Tedder, Calvin Buchanan and John (J. H.) Tedder, Jr.

Tina is survived by: her daughter, Kathy Griggs and husband, Ron, of Middlesex, N.C.; her son, Gerald Anderson and wife, Gloria, of Raleigh, N.C.; her son, LaMarr Anderson and wife, Vickie, of Louisburg, N.C.; her brothers, Bryant Tedder and wife, Betty, and Jack Tedder and wife, Janice, of Perry; her brother, Robert Paul Tedder of Old Town; her sisters, Wanda Tedder Cash and Betty Jane Tedder Holton of Perry; her granddaughter, Stephanie Narron and husband, Brandon, of Middlesex, N.C.; her granddaughter, Heather Anderson and fiancé, John, of Wendell, N.C.; her granddaughter, Veronica Griggs of Middlesex, N.C.; her granddaughter, Samantha Anderson and husband, Brent, of Louisburg, N.C.; and her great-grandchildren, Layla, Jonathan, Victoria and Rubee.

Pall bearers will be Marty Mathews, Scott Tedder, Kevin Tedder, Todd Tedder, Roy Denmark and Steve Kahl.
