Pier nearly 50% done

The Hodges Park pier reconstruction project is making noticeable progress, with the main structure nearly half complete, as workers install decking and handrails right behind the pilings.

The popular tourist and fishing spot was almost totally destroyed when Hurricane Hermine made landfall here in September 2016.
