Scallop season will close Sept. 10 along most of Taylor

The 2018 recreational bay scallop season for much Taylor County, including the Beaches area and Steinhatchee, as well as Dixie County, closes Tuesday, Sept. 11, with the last day open to harvest being Monday, Sept. 10.

This includes all state waters from the Suwannee River to the Fenholloway River.
