Southerland installed as state board treasurer

Taylor County Supervisor of Elections Dana Southerland (above, far right) was installed as treasurer of the Florida State Association Supervisor of Elections (FSASE) Executive Board during the organization’s summer conference held June 9-13 in Marco Island.

Rep. Jim Boyd, chairman of the Florida House Ethics and Elections Subcommittee, presided over the swearing-in ceremony. Southerland was elected to the office by her fellow supervisors from all 67 Florida counties.
